UNITED SIKHS (UK) – UNITED HUMANITARIAN SIKH AID Director Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan
London, United Kingdom | December , 2025
In a moving tribute to decades of humanitarian service, Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan (UK) presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Ms. Narpinder Mann BEM, Director of UNITED SIKHS (UK) operating as UNITED HUMANITARIAN SIKH AID. UNITED SIKHS, headquartered in NYC, runs its operations in the UK under United Humanitarian Sikh Aid. The honour was conferred on December 1, 2025, during a commemorative gathering in the UK Parliament, marking both Guru Nanak Dev’s Gurpurab and the 350th Shaheedi Samagam of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

The ceremony brought together parliamentarians, Sikh leaders, and community advocates in a rare moment of collective recognition. Among those in attendance were Padam Shri Bob Blackman CBE MP, Gurinder Josan CBE MP, Warinder Juss MP, and Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi MP, whose presence underscored the growing recognition of Sikh contributions and the importance of solidarity within Parliament.

Ms. Mann’s award reflects her unwavering commitment to humanitarian relief, civil rights advocacy, and diaspora empowerment. Through her leadership at UNITED SIKHS in the UK – UNITED HUMANITARIAN SIKH AID – she has mobilized global coalitions to respond to crises, defended the rights of marginalized communities, and advanced the Sikh principle of seva (selfless service).

This recognition is not only a personal milestone but also a collective celebration of Sikh resilience and values. By situating the award within the commemorations of Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Tegh Bahadur, organisers underscored the continuity of Sikh principles across centuries – from the Gurus’ sacrifices to modern-day advocacy for justice and human dignity.

UNITED SIKHS operating in the UK as UNITED HUMANITARIAN SIKH AID views this honour as a reminder that lifetime achievements are built on sustained service to humanity, and as inspiration to continue strengthening interfaith partnerships and global solidarity.
